This is a documentary about the week of Jeff Curran’s 2023 Big Frog BJJ Retreat in Cocoa Beach, Florida. Jeff visits 2 of his friends/teammates academia along the way teaching seminars at each location en route to Cocoa Beach.
This film was filmed and produced by Alex Brown, a Pedro Sauer Black belt from Gracie Charlottesville in Virginia. If you have attended one of Jeff’s retreats before, sit back and relive your experience as you watch short documentary.

Jeff Curran
Jeff Curran is a retired professional MMA fighter and 5th Degree Black Belt under the legendary, Master Pedro Sauer. Mr. Curran is married to his wife Sarah and together they have two boys, Ty and Jacob. Curran Jiu-Jitsu Academy/Team Curran was founded by Jeff back in the summer of 1997.
Through good times and bad alike, Team Curran and it’s staff of instructors, including partner Chuck Pilcher, managed to withstand the test of the ever changing industry as well as the hard times of our economy.
The systems Jeff has developed as his curriculum are a time-tested and fundamental approach to everything ranging from Self-Defense all the way to professional competition in both MMA and Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu.
About Adam Miller
Adam Miller
Adam is a 4th degree black belt and Professor under Master Pedro Sauer and Prof. Jeff Curran. He began his martial arts journey at the age of seven and holds black belts in Gracie Jiu-Jitsu, Judo, classic Ju-Jitsu, and Hapkido.
Adam started training Jiu-Jitsu in 1992 and is proud to be one of the founding members of Team Curran and an original student of MMA Pioneer and Jiu-Jitsu Professor Jeff Curran. He currently teaches out of Gracie Kentucky in Louisville.
